The Hazardous Area Pneumatic Hooter was designed for use with intrinsically safe alarm annunciators to provide auditory alarm in hazardous areas. The flameproof solenoid valve of the PH-01 hooters has a coil voltage of 24V DC, 110V AC, or 230V AC 50Hz. It may be hung on the wall or placed on top of the panel. It's also available with a non-flameproof Solenoid valve for use in typical areas. At 2 metres, the audio output is around 180-200dbs. It may be heard from 200 to 300 metres away. These are solenoid valves that are CIMFR and CCOE certified. We can provide AFR with a pressure gauge installed on the hooter as a standard feature.
